Good Choice Supports was founded by Simone Coughlan, who has dedicated more than 15 years to supporting individuals and families across Melbourne's Eastern, South Eastern, and surrounding suburbs.

After many years working in the support services sector, Simone saw a need for more personalised, consistent support. Too often, people felt like just another number, with services focused on systems rather than the individual. She founded Good Choice Supports to provide something different – genuine, person-centred support that focuses on building relationships, promoting independence, and helping people achieve their goals.

Today, that same commitment continues to guide everything Good Choice Supports does.

Simone brings extensive experience across disability, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and community services. She is committed to ongoing learning and professional development to ensure participants receive high-quality support that reflects current best practice.

Her qualifications include:

• Certificate IV in Disability
• Diploma of Community Services
• Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD)
• Diploma of Mental Health
• Undergraduate Certificates in Mental Health, AOD, and Community Services
• Mental Health First Aid
• First Aid

Simone is also a proud member of Community Workers Australia and the Victorian Disability Workers Commission.

Simone believes that every person deserves support that is tailored to their individual needs, goals, and circumstances.

Whether it's assistance with daily living, mental health support, community participation, social connection, transport, or building independence, Good Choice Supports takes the time to understand what matters most to each participant and provides support that works for them.
